Points to note regarding the Summer League 2010

1: Umpires

All umpires who officiate in the Summer League must hold as a minimum, a C Umpire Award, if umpiring in Division 1 & 2.

Umpires should not umpire more than two (2) Division 1 and 2 games in anyone evening.

2: League Meeting

A league meeting will take place on Tuesday 1st June, all teams who enter the league will be expected to send 1 representative. Umpires are also encouraged to attend this meeting.

Could you please ensure all accidents/incidents are reported to Rachael Radford as soon as possible and the attached report form is completed and returned. Please click here.

Available Umpires

1: Kathryn Exley (Kestrels Netball Club) is a C award umpire and is available to umpire Division 1and 2 during the Summer League, please contact her at kathryn@kexley.wanadoo.co.uk.

2: David Arundale (Sheffield Concord Netball Club) is willing to do some umpiring on a Tuesday evening - please contact him directly at arundaledavid@tiscali.co.uk

David would be available for 6pm games

3: Bernie Davies (RBS) is willing to do some umpiring on a Tuesday evening in Division 1 and 2 - please contact Bernie directly

4: Marlene Ellis (Hallam) is a C award umpire and iswilling to do some umpiring on a Tuesday in Division 2 although would look at some Division 1 games , - please contact her directly at Marlene.Ellis@sch.nhs.uk

Whilst as a league we do not specify that you should pay umpire's, it should be noted that some may expect payment to cover their expenses (as a guide the management board would say no more than 10GBP for a qualified umpire ((minimum C award)) should be paid)
