Year 7 Play Day 2010
Y7 Play Day 2010
This year saw our 2nd Y7 play day. It was held at EIS, Sheffield on Saturday 6th November. We had over 80 girls enter from 20 different school from across the county. The girls received coaching for the first part of the morning from the SYTDA coaches, as well as members of the Academy squad, who acted as assistant coaches on the morning. They were amazing ad made the day run really smothly!
The Y7 girls then split into squads and played a friendly tournament in the afternoon. As a result of the day, 7 girls were selected to join the satellite squad and 1 girls was selected to join the academy and I am sure you will join us in wishing them the best of luck for the rest of the season.
