Umpire Forum
As part of the management boards commitment to the development of umpires across South Yorkshire we are holding a series of umpire 'drop-in sessions'.
These sessions are designed for umpires/players/coaches (of what every qualification/standard) to drop in and discuss any questions/queries they have relating to umpiring.
It may be that you want to clarify a rule, discuss umpire progression or generally seek support when umpiring.
Sessions will soon be arranged for the 2011/12 season

Beginner Umpire Courses
This course is for those who have never umpired before / who have done some umpiring but maybe not for a number of years / people who have a limited understanding of netball and the rules of the game

This course is for those who have attended the Beginner course and are looking to build on their umpiring experience / for those that have attended the Beginner course previously (some time again) and wish to use the session as a refresher.

Umpire Fitness Test
As I am sure you are all aware B award umpires are expected to confirm to a certain level of fitness to be able to umpire at the Regional round of National Schools and also from this year to umpire in the senior regional league.
The required level is 5.1.
There is paperwork to complete and either a coach or qualified teacher will need to sign off your form (you can not sign off your own).
